This is an entertainment center I just completed for a friend of mine. It is birch plywood with poplar trim. The finish is General Finishes espresso stain followed by 4 coats of Minwax polycrylic. This is the first big project that I used the earlex 5000 spray system on and I couldn’t be happier with the finish it laid down. The first picture has the very satisfied customer in it.

Whoa! Nice and hefty and well finished. Did you NEED 4 topcoats or was it a finishing preference?

Thanks for the comments.
Lobro4, I usually try for 3-4 coats, if it looks good after 3 I call it quits, this particular project needed the extra topcoat.

Hey EMT.
Isn’t interesting that so many of us with stressful jobs ends up woodworking. Nice work by the way.
