Simple pine construction…jig made to drill dowel holes…I knew my table top drill press would not be able to drill all these hole locations so I decided to make this simple jig…another reason to buy a new drill press :)...used my band saw to hand cut all the dowels used to make the actual thread roll holders…

Single hand wiped coat of “gunstock” stain with 2 coats of poly…

Nice Job. My wife has 2 of these that I must have moved and hung on various walls like 8 times. I was thinking about building a 3’X4’ one that includes the large serger spools. Thanks for the inspiration, I need to get off the couch and finalize the plans and make some saw dust.

Good idea for spools of thread for building fishing rods. Great idea for the drilling jig. Thanks for sharing.
