Simple serving tray

Project by Dooley posted 92 days ago 389 views 0 times favorited 4 comments Add to Favorites Watch

A little quick build using a chunk of burl I had hanging around. My new hobby is turquoise inlay so I had to use a bit here, I wish this burl had more defects ;)

Nice work!! I like the look of the burl and the contrasting turquoise detail.
How was the burl shaped and what is the size of the tray?
Congratulations!

Very cool Dooley, simple but elegant with outstanding wood.

i like it…

sometimes it’s good to leave the inlay to a minimum , i know because i often go over board

I agree …sweet little focal point indeed..It’s just enough to add to the piece without taking away from the nice burl : )
