Mostly in pine.
The top is end grain, oiled with about one quart of canola oil, the rest is polyurethane.
There is a drawer on the side.
In service since 2003.

Any problems with the Canola oil becoming rancid yet ? Usually Mineral oil is used to avoid that issue and is supposed to be the only one that doesn’t go bad on ya over time.
The top is also Pine ?? You only mentioned “endgrain” , but nothing specific at this time.

Nice design : )

No problems with the Canola oil becoming rancid. Serve many time every day since 2003. The top is end-grain pine. No sign of wear.
I put about 4 onces of new canola oil every 2 month…
