I added this stuff to my son’s room. I thought it might give some ideas to people for presents or decorations.
The shelves are poplar with wainscoting behind it. (1/2” poplar from HD) The frames are made from pine trim from HD with the same wainscoting and a lexan covering. The pictures will be applied directly to the wainscoting. I wanted the stuff to all have something in common, thus the white wainscoting.
The shelves are really easy to build and my wife loved them. I am going to have to make 2 more and place them below the chair rail for baby access and more storage. The books filled up the shelves as soon as they hit the wall.
paint before assembly if you have the time. I was in a rush and didn’t, I wish I had.

those book shelves are awesome, I’d love to have some, but I think my son has too many books now.
