For my little girl’s christmas present – she loves playing with these!
Pine, with store-bought plywood discs, turned (cherry? birch?) knobs, and steel bowl. linseed oil and wax finish. Designed following a general waldorf scheme, but with my own personal style on the curved casework, shelves, handles, and hooks. Joinery is a combination of biscuits (for alignment), screws (for shelves – into cleats), and dowels (for top shelves and the shiplapped back).

What a lovely gift for your daughter. I wish our Grandkids lived closer. Any thing I build for them if it’s large, must come apart for shipping.

thanks for the nice comments. The dimensions are approximately 24” wide, 40” tall, and 11.5” deep… basically a standard size for wooden kitchen playsets.
Have your say...
