This was a good project to get used to my new razor tip wood burner. I traced the picture onto plywood with transfer paper then burned the image on the plywood. Once the image was burned I scroll sawed the hand out and the rosary showing below the wrists. I made a cross on the scroll saw that was when burned and overlayed on top of the hand to make a third layer. I was trying to create a 3D effect. The back panel was painted white and then dry brushed with the same black stain I used on the mitered frame.

Thanks for looking

Very unusual—well executed and someone is going to absolutely love it!
