Just a simple platform bed I made and has really brought me to something I never knew I would enjoy so much. Now taking orders from friends and family for all kinds of nice pieces.

Looks great! isn’t funny you make something and the orders from the people around you when you make something. You want people to see what you made but there is always a catch.

Very nice. I’m actually building a platform bed similar to this. My side rails come into the headboard horizontally the way your do except mine are about 2-1/2” thick and I’m struggling trying to figure out the most secure way to connect those rails to the headboard securely and where they can be removed and re-installed numerous times. How did you connect your side rails to headboard?

I would use my kreg jig for some pocket holes if I’m picturing your situation correctly. Either that or maybe a mortise and tennon. I’m no pro though…

Nice looking bed

Todd you want to be careful how you connect woods that have cross grain situations,because of wood movement.Sorry to say Pocket screws is not the way to go .
