Finally finished the bathroom, except for the floor. The reason for the all doors is to hide the hot water heater and my husband wanted full access incase anything ever goes wrong with it. Couldnt talk him into lowering the wall above the doors for nothing. I keep the towels in the bottom. I did make the mistake of putting my knobs on before they were hung. Of course they didnt get hung exactly even. Any sugesstions on how to fix the knob? It’s really not that bad, something I can live with. The table is junk lumber, it cost more for the screws than the wood. The tile was cheap too. I guess if the tile doesnt hold up I can always pull that off and lay slats on top. Keep in mind, this table will go under water at least once a year, I’m sure. That’s why it’s chained down. My dad built the pit about 30 years ago, and we just can’t keep a wood top on it for nothing. The brackets arent really wide enough because there are holes in it to bolt the wood on. But since the brackets are only about an inch wide, the holes in the wood ends up to close to the edge and the weather usually splits the wood within two years or so. So this time, I made the slats longer and mounted it from underneath. I’m really sick of replacing this thing. Any suggestion are welcome. My son can weld, so I thought about having him take them off and make wider brackets, if that’s possible, I guess it is. Oh, just had to neak a picture of the river in there. It was a beautiful weekend. Had plenty of time for a boat ride. Oh, the rug in front of the doors, that is one of my painted rugs.

Beautiful Cabin!
Maybe the knobs could be changed with ones that have a slightly larger base (side against the door). You could fill the old hole and re-drill and the knob base wold conceal the change- on the outside. Maybe no one will look on the inside ;^)

Like how you solved the “hiding the hot water tank” with those nice wood doors. And really liked the painted rug (of course – LOL!!). Nice touch. And such a beautiful photo of your river; I would have a hard time leaving this place. Just beautiful and truly coming together.

Thanks GrandmaT, I do have a hard time leaving. In fact, my husband called me Sunday last week and wanted to know where I was. Most of the time we ride together, but not last weekend and of course I waited to the last minute to get home. I hate missing a weekend too. He’s staying home this weekend, but I won’t.

Oh, GrandmaT. Notice I already have rugs down, but not the floor yet. But that’s me, decorating before it’s even finished.
