I made these for an awards banquet, 10 of the kind on the left, and two of the horse head, shown on the right. Three were made from white oak, two from maple, and the rest from walnut. All lumber is locally grown, milled, and provided from here in southwest Michigan. I used Watco Danish oil, then a clear gloss coating to finish them. They were carved on a Carvewright CNC, and cut out on a band saw and table saw. I then hand sanded each of them. My wife painted in the graphics. It took me about 3 weeks, two for developing the logo pattern and one to make them.
