Just finished my Christmas “shopping” for this year!!
Well, I still have to devise some sort of holders for these, yet. I was thinking of something along the lines of a flat piece with a cove cut along the length but because the rolling pins are tapered from the center, they would not lay flat. Still thinking on this. But anyway, the pins are finished.
Not sure who is going to get the Sapele one- either my brother or my high school shop teacher.
Thanks for looking!
Lew

brothers are overrated…i say the shop teacher gets the sapele!!! (just kidding on the brother part)...
Will they go in a box? iif so you could just have a couple coved pieces of wood on each end to hold it in the box…

I was really hoping to inherit my mother’s beautiful, large birdseye maple rolling pin since I make and freeze 15 or more pie crusts every time I visit my folks. But since you have so many rolling pins ready now, just send me a PM and I’ll send you my address so you can get one of those beauties right off to me. ;-)

Great pins! These are fantastic! Nice to see them all lined up like that. It looks like one big knot!
Great job on turning all these out. And to be done with christmass already! I am still trying to keep up with birthdays.
Once I get a better table saw I will deffinetly be trying one of these.
Keep it up.

Thanks for the kind comments!
These will go to the ladies in my doctors office, relatives, former teacher, school raffle, friends and neighbors. If there are any left over (my wife makes these decisions) they will become reserve wedding presents.

Those look great Lew! Did you pick the sapele up at Hicksville planing mill? They have tons of it there. Is that the Record Herald I see under all those pins?
