Like every thing else, as we venture further into wood working, our tool collection grows. Which means they need a place to call home. so the ugly orange router bit holder is born, I made this with left over mdf and some thin plywood that i used as the dividers. I put this together using pocket hole screws.

It serves a purpose… And thats what counts.

For what its worth, until I built my recent router cabinet, I stored all my router bits in an old first aid cabinet that came from work. It was metal with three shelves and it worked very well for about 4-years. Not its full of other misc stuff.

@ Burb you are right it serves it purpose, for me this perfect for a couple reasons, one is this will sit on the window sill in my basement where I plan on placing the router table after i move a few things around, 2 this holds my most commonly used bits so it is convenient, 3. For the time being my router bit collection is small and only have what I need, vs What I want just to say I have it.

Have your say...
