Sign for the new toy.

Hi guys I am not posting any boards till I have them all finished .. nearly 60 now,... more in the blog,,, but I did finish this sign.
Large slab of Camphor Laurel that I found under a pile of recycled Silky Oak when I cleaned up the yard around the shed. It was the ugliest slab you could imagine.. twisted warped bowed and just down right ugly. It is over 2 metres long and over 350 mm at its widest. About 45 mm thick.
I left the slab weathered and routed the raised letters with the new toy. Set the stops on the X and Y axes for the framing of the letters. This will be featured in Melbourne.

Your 150 board goal now seems like a walk in the park.
You will be done in plenty of time.
But David’s council is wise; pace yourself and don’t over do it.
How would it be to be sick or injured when it’s time to go to Melbourne?

That sign came out especially nice seeing you left it weathered on the frame face.
You are going to bowl them over when you go!
