This is some red oak trim that I made for my house for the windows. I was not happy with the selection from the big box stores so I took a trip to the library to look through some books and found a design using 2 pieces of wood glued together. I looked through my router bit selection and came up with this design. The width of the trim is 3-1/4” inches and 1” thick. The yellow router bit is a chair rail bit, only using part of it, and the red bit is a 1/4 beading bit. It turned out great and I couldn’t be happier with the result. It was a ton of work but I would do it again.
