Hi all

I’ve been busy in the shed lately Christmas present making!

Here is the first box I have tried with dovetail corners.

The wood is just offcuts, the front and back are Camphor Laurel but I don’t know what the rest is. The insert for the top is a veneered piece of ply, again the veneer was just something lying around.
It is finished with Danish oil and beeswax and lined with R.M.Williams boot leather.

Turned out great, especially for using what you had sitting around.

That’s a sweet little box man. Good job on the joinery.
