Well here it is the 3rd piece in my office suite. I learned a lot on this piece especially about production type building as I have all the pieces cut and ready to go for number 2, I cut everything at the same time and hope to get it assembled soon. Like all the other pieces in my office it is built out of standard dimensional lumber from the blue box and finished with General Finishes Antique Oak two coats of poly. I of course again used my Kreg Jig for almost all the joints.
The two pictures not of the bookcase show my improvised drying rack, I am sure some of you have already done this, it worked quite well. I wrapped the clamp bars in plastic wrap to keep the paint off of them and to help prevent the pieces form sticking. Also used some those Painter’s Pyramids I picked up somewhere they do a great job on the shelves.
Oh and as you can tell it got full approval from my daughter. Hope to post her birthday gifts here after this weekend. :) Thanks for looking, more pieces to come.
