Well Christmas is coming and ole Buster Claus is trying to catch up with his build list. This is a pretty straight forward 6 bottle wine rack with glass holders. I built it out of some spalted wormy oak I had been saving since last Christmas. Finished with Danish Oil. Didn’t have a wine bottle on hand to actually measure so looked online and found that that they come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes… So I guessed. I am thinking the 5” holes were a tad excessive…lol. Did ask my wife to find me a bottle of wine so I could do a fitting during fabrication…she brought me a bottle of sparkling grape juice which our son enjoyed immensely. It is my hope to get out to some of our local wineries and fill it with local flavor for them….a nice touch of her (and his I guess) hometown while she continues to work towards her doctorate. Oh BTW, glasses are included as well. Happy Holidays y’all!!!

Looks great Buster. I have had lots of practice with my branding iron and I still have problems half the time.

Realy unique design.Glasses holder is very useful addition – if only there is some bottle opener the experiance would be complete.

Another fine job by BusterB! Nice design. Six bottles and four glasses, and a carry handle, all in a fairly small area. Sweet. I also like the Oak, you can’t go wrong with Oak. Keep them coming buddy.

Nice rack Buster, I had to say it. Just to let you know, I’m an official wine tester. Nobody around here drinks any wine unless I drink it, I mean test it first. Great build and I’m sure they will love it.

That’s a great looking wine rack! Has plenty of storage, and takes up little space—very efficient!

Dave- Thank you sir….and stop staring at my rack…lol I went in search of some local wines this afternoon…sure could have used someone who had a clue. All those places were offering test drives…

Dean- Thank you sir. You summed up what I was shooting for. If I had cut 3 1/2” or 4” holes instead of the 5” inch ones, it could have been even more compact….ahhh live and learn I guess.
