Saw this on a web site ages ago. The wings serve as a small shelf. The plane has double slot mounts on the end of the body which is mounted to a plaque. The plaque has an inverted “T” slot in the back. Plaque is pine with red mahogany stain and satin lacquer finish. Plane is painted white with blue trim. Since his dad has a pilot’s license, the 5 y/o is a plane nut.

Neat! How much weight will each wing hold? Curious.

Knothead – Haven’t the foggiest idea, but I think we’ll find out. I believe thats why there are duel mounting brackets in the rear of the body – so the plane is less likely to swivel.

Don’t worry the 5 year old will find out the max weight load for the wings. Then Grandpa comes back as the Aircraft Repair guy. But it’s all worth it for the Kids.
