hi there
here is 2 plates or bowls whatever you want to call them that i had a lot of fun making
i wanted to make something to catch the eye of customers at the up coming crafts fair
and this is what i end up with i think they will do the trick
the are 6 inches at the bottom and 13 at the top the stand 3 inches
the woods are pulper heart cherry wenge maple
they are 176 pieces in each
the bottom is a little different in one it has mahogany around the boxes and
purple heart on the other finish is tung oil and bees wax

Wow, they are real nice Branch, they will catch the customers eyes alright but don’t sell them to early in the day.

The original picture, from a short distance, looked like a butterfly. Nicely done. Eye catching was mentioned, I’ll agree with that. Thanks for sharing.

hi thanks for having a look and the great comments
got a phone call to day the fair has being cancelled due to heave rain
it has not stop raining for the last week the local river has rising by 6 meeters
witch is 20 /feet 6 inches and all the towns and villages are flooded and
roads and bridges are closed and a lot of homes and businesses are under water
so bad news all round but we are ok we are away above the water level
