Rick, this is nice looking trim.
Your project is a great case for a point that I try to make to woodworkers. Poplar wood is a great alternative to more expensive woods. It can be stained to resemble other woods, it is stable, and the cost is very reasonable.
This is a secret that the contractors have known for quite some time.
