A coffee table in knotty white pine, 21×48 x 16”

As I used up the last of my rough pine making this table I couldn’t get a very nice grain match for the top with the boards I had left. The legs were hand turned and the mortises were done by a mortising machine. They turned out not being very clean so I filled them in and joined the aprons to the legs with dowels and pocket holes.Just drilled by eye-balling but I did use a kreg jig to attach the top to the base.

Finished with chestnut stain, white paint and spray-on polyurethane

I’m not the biggest fan of painting solid wood white but we don’t always have things our way : )

Looks nice. The contrast works well. Thanks for sharing.
