What a beutiful kitchen
Yes they are simple doors but i think anything else in the space would be to overpowering
The okitchen is well laid out with lots of useable bench space and (my personal favourite the sink is not in the island bench which the designers here in australia think is great) beautifully executed
Well done
Hooky
PS if you built this in your garage workhop i am impressed

The kitchen cabinets came out very nice.
What type of counter tops are they?

Yep it was built in my garage workshop. The countertops are a bevel edges laminate top. They look good and are cost effective.

Nice job on the kitchen and the counter tops. I agree with hooky, the door style works really well for that size kitchen. Very well done.

I have a porter cable dovetail jig that I use. I buy prefinished birch ply from my supplier that comes in 4”, 6” and 8” sizes and is already edgebanded on one side and dadoed for the bottom. I just cut them to size and dovetail all the joints for strength. It works really well and they look good.

I’ve got a Maple kitchen similar to this. We have cathedral doors is about the only difference and our countertop is a little darker. Man you can’t beat that Maple for beauty can you? Beautiful work, you should be proud.
