Maybe this should be a product review for Kallenshaan Woods as that is where the pen kits came from. Ken Nelson provides a quality kit and good service. He had somehow neglected to include the stars for the flag pen but a phone call cured that without question.
I watched Ed Davidson’s videos on putting the flag pen together. He had some good suggestions but I still did it my way.Putting 50 stars into the little star slots was tedious but, as you can see, the pen is beautiful.
I made the pen for my neighbor who is chief of staff at Dobbins ARB. He leaves every now and then. Doesn’t tell us where he is going, but we know. A fitting acknowledgment to his service.
The piano pen is for another friend whose son just got his Masters in Musicology and thinks he wants to go for a PhD. Actually, the pen is for his son. I can’t give him a pen like this. He’s a judge I appear in front of and other folks have told me that my pens are more like bribes than gifts. LOL. Actually, we’ve known each other for over 30 years and were in the same study group in law school.
The pens are the Baron model and I think I have found the pen I like best.
I wish my photo skills were better as the pics don’t do justice to the pens.

Very nice pens. and a great story to go with it. I can see why these would be considered a bribe.
Great job.
Keep it up.

I love the flag pen (always have) and giving it to him to acknowledge his service is wonderful.
