Here is a maple toy box I built as a 2nd birthday gift for our niece. Its made with some curly maple, mortise and tenon joints, book matched panels, butt joints with dowels to help secure them to each other. (why i did this I don’t know, I just did) the bottom is 1/2” plywood. The idea was found on the www. I like the fact that there are few pinch points and the friction hinges help with the piece of mind. The over all size is roughly 20×30 x 22 high. Thanks for looking.
