i enjoyed making these. i ordered 38 most being the funline pen. not that impressed with that pen. it just seems to be cheaper than the slimline quality wise. ive been selling these for $30 each or 4 for$100. i got just about all the blanks for free or either i glued up some scraps of burl.

Nice work! The ones in pictures 3, 4, and 5 look really cool. I just got into pen turning, actually it’s the only thing if ever turned. I am hooked. But crap it’s so expensive to get everything you need.

thanks chris. pic 3 is cocobolo wood and the others u liked are just some burl pieces i had & i had to glue up the blanks with several pieces each. the one with turquoise is just some beeds i crushed with a hammer & glued it in the void. i got some acrylic granite counter top samples i just started using too. i save money like that & by getting the kits with the most pens. this is my first go at pen turning also. good luck to ya.

Nice pens!
Great way to use up otherwise unusable wood scraps.

-- I love my lathe. It’s old, not too pretty and I don’t really know how to use it… Love it!
