This is another attempt at a box. it is made of Poplar stained with Bronze Walnut , the top is oak, walnut crotch and a small strip of maple. finished with gloss lacquer. Thanks.

Mike, this is a nice box. I was going to say little until I saw the photo of your daughter with the box. The walnut and maple additions to the lid add visual interest to the box.

Nice looking box – you did a great job and I love the walnut crotch insert set off by the maple strip… it really works well. Your little one appears to have a firm grip on the box – I think it is hers. Don’t imagine you refuse her much anyway, right?

Very nice box. The wood choices are fantastic. The wulnut crotch is set off nicely by that maple stip in the lid.

Great job. Keep it up.

The walnut is just beautiful. The maple strip accentuates it well. Nothing sets walnut off any better than that smile on your model, though. Keep up the good work.
