Great looking chairs.. I’ve never heard of NZ silver beech. Is the chair in the bottom right of the last photo waiting for its “X” shaped support?

Beautiful chairs with very nice detail.

Someone made a dozen or so and donated them as an exhibit/gift to Prospect Park in Brooklyn, NY. They were painted various bright colors so they could be easily seen from a distance in the park. They were a welcome treat to sit in while watching the dog, but it was obvious the maker really didn’t understand the design. There was no space between the slats which kind of diminishes the original designs intent. They are meant to be open to allow air flow around the person sitting in them and to allow leaves, debris and water to fall thru when placed in an open space and unattended from maintenance, so leaves and water do not accumulate.

You did yours in the true spirit of the design while giving them your own personal twist. I particularly like the crossed back support.

Great looking Adirondack chair! I like the curvy arms, and the back braces are very unique!

I really like your design. I’ve always had a soft spot for Adirondack chairs having grown up with them on my grandparents farm in upstate NY

I make several a year myself.
