Made a few years back now.The curve on the upper part was taken from a Franklin Gottshall book.A highly recommended woodworking author..Just trying to get my posts up to 5 so I can reply to some of your comments and send drawings etc!!

Lovely bit of work Paul and welcome to the forum.

I’ve only worked elm a few times. Melbourne has the most elms in the southern hemisphere, occasionally one is cut down.

Oh my! That is OUTSTANDING! It’s HUGE!

Boy, that strikes me as being creative and courageous enough to take on something so large and “different”. I’ve never seen one like that before.

I was just showing my Wife this. She loves it too.

But now that I take a second look I’m envious of your workspace!
