This is a project of a larger scale than I usually do. It is made of mahogany, solid and ply. I dyed the trim black, rubbed it out to let some grain come through, three coats of wipe-on poly, steel wool and paste wax. They have lights up top, a glass top shelf and paneled doors. My next project is a desk to go with the shelves.

Ooo very nice, almost gothic looking. Very stately.

wow, I love how the dyed finish came out on all the columns. You do amazing work, it really caught my eye.

Amazing, how do you get that kind of work done. Looks to be much more than a weekend project. I love to see your finished work, it inspires me to get going again on my projects!

Jaydee, Please stop making these projects so outstanding. I am having wife problems and my continuous drooling over your latest project is not helping. All I hear out of her is “Why the hell can’t you build me something that nice?”. SO PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD “QUIT IT ! “

a little wierd how the perfect posts, curved tops with added fatty bead moulds sticks into the cheepy blinds on the windows and the baseboards on the existing room doesnt match the fine cabinets you built?

Nice work on the cabinets but poor execution on the install…..............something is F U or ?

Honestly, I’m not a big fan of the color scheme, but that’s just a matter of personal preference. The quality of the work and the overall design is fantastic!
