i started out like most. doing everything the hard way. i slowly started seeing things come together & understanding how its supposed to be done. only i didnt have the tools to do it that way. So it was all really easy once i got the tools. the second thing i wanted to do on the bandsaw was inlaid dovetails. it opened up so many more doors getting that bandsaw.

Gosh! My first day on the band saw I greased the table, aligned the blade on the wheel(s) and made all kinds of saw dust just cutting 2×4’s seeing if I could make thin stock! You did great for the first day!~Suzanne

Nice boxes. I understand when you try (band saw) it you can’t stop.

That’s a very creative idea using the light wood on the side, I expect I will see many more variations in the future, at the rate of projects on the first day. By the size on that one box the only waste going out of your shop will be sawdust.
