Salvaged bowl

I went a little too deep and cut out the bottom off this guy. I made a base to fill it in, and I think it “turned” out ok.
The base and top are made with ebonized maple the bowl and spigot are wood I found while I was walking my dog. I’m pretty sure my neighbors think I’m nuts when they see me carrying logs around the neighborhood.

Welcome to LJs. Very good save. A lot of people think woodworkers are strange. I love to mess up their minds.

Welcome to Lumberjocks, Blue!! Great save on the bowl and it is very pretty wood. Your neighbors will catch on when they see what you can make with those logs!!

If they are small logs, let the dog carry them. Tell people you’re training him to Fetch!
