This is my first project to post. I had to build a hearth that complied with the building code, so it is 2 pieces of three quarter inch plywood 4ft by 4ft laminated, with ceramic tile on top. Very heavy to get out of the basement, but serves the purpose. Outlined edges are red oak trim with urethane finish.

Very good job,I know with all those building code now it is hard to do anything,same with building permits to replace a couple steps outside you need a permit now.
