A friend of mine is opening a Comic Book/Toy Collectors store and he asked me to make him some custom cabinets to hold comic books. He gave me some general ideas of what he wanted and an overall length (16 Feet) he wanted the cabinets to be. Here is what I came up with. I tried to maximize the storage space to hold as many comic books as possible. Overall storage between the drawers and the top section on each cabinet comes out just shy of 90 feet. There are 4 four drawer cabinets and one 2 drawer cabinet that make up the unit. I CNC’d the name of the store into the divider of the center/2 drawer cabinet. This was a big project and took some time to design and build but my buddy was pleased with the end result and I think it looks good in his store.

I built the cabinets from white melamine and used oak for the face frames and trim work. The Marvel Comic themed drawer pulls were purchased at Hobby Lobby. I think they make a nice finishing touch.

Wow!That’s very impresive cabinet. I hope it will sell them better. White looks good with oak.

Wow! Those are fantastic. Looks better than the comic store on the Big Bang tv show.
