This is a storage box I built for my sister. This was the size she wanted with cowboy boots on the front so this is what I came up with. I like the differences in the wood so I mostly used wood scraps that I had laying around left over from other projects. It is mostly pine and I added some redwood slats to the lid to make it a little more interesting. I used pocket hole joinery for putting this together. The finish is a high gloss polyurethane clear coat that shows off the wood grain really nice. I put together the horse shoe handle to try and keep it with the western theme.

That is really nice. Bet your sister is thrilled with it.
