This is a Christmas tree top that I just made for a carving show this weekend. It’s hard to tell but it is concave on one side and convex on the other. This was a little challenging to cut and put together before I carved it. This is made from basswood and then bleached.

‘tis the season!!
Last year at this time I saw a store had begun to put out their Christmas stuff…
Beautiful star .. Since I’ve tried a little of this work, it becomes even more impressive on the clean lines that you achieve.

The wood bleach that I used I bought at Lowe’s and it was a two part mixture. Thank you much Yakerjax for the kind words.
