Took a break from making toys for Christmas and spent the day making these tree decorations. The largest is 4” tall. All are made from Sapele and Holly and the flame on the candle is holy stained red.
The bells have clappers which the stems are turned down to 1/8” thick which will give the approximate size of the bells . These did not turn out the same.
I am going to give these to my sister for her tree that is why there are six to make a kind of set.

Very Nice. I especially like the candles. Today must be the day for people named Derek to post their ornaments. I posted an ornament today also.

How did you color the candle flames? Need to get into the shop and do some turning. Thanks for sharing!

The flame was coloured using red spirit stain which I did before glueing it into the candle, you could even use red felt tip pens

Nice ornaments. I went through a stage where I turned a lot of those little things. They really are a lot of fun. I only wish mine would have turned out as nice as yours.
