My wife asked me to make some art caddies for the kids art supplies. She also asked me to take care of the “wood problem” that’s blocking her access to the kids toy storage shelf in the basement (I have left over off-cuts leaning against the shelf). Since I had no Black Friday shopping in mind, I figured I’d take care of 2 birds with one stone.
I knocked out these two caddies using left-over 2×10 fir and hardboard from my workbench build. A quick project to use up wood and get a short woodworking fix in during this unseasonably warm weather. After pre-sanding to 220grit and assembled, I passed them along to my kids this morning. They were left unfinished so that the kids can “finish” them over time.
PS: It’s impossible to get a 2 year old to stay still for a photo.
