Spalted Maple Photo Album

My brother came out to visit from CO last April and we built this album for my mom as a Mother’s day gift. We documented the whole build in photos and filled the album with our build pics.

That is some beautiful wood. Sorry you had to waste it on your mother.

Is the wood solid or did you make veneer and glue it on a substrate. I’ve made a few 3 ring binders and used veneer over 1/4” plywood. I also used a piano hindge for the hinges. I can’t make out what your hinges are.

Karson, no worries I have quite a bit more of this board. It is all solid wood. I resawed some slices and bookmarched them. The hinges are piano hinges too.
