my deck might be something more suited to home furbers, but i don’t have an account there. the only important part is the decking, used 5/4 treated. i started with the center diamond. i thought i could do a whole quadrant at once, but alas i was wrong. so for four evenings till dark i was chasing the boards around and around. i thought i had pictures of the railings and stairs but i seem to have misplaced them. right now it has 2’ of snow on it so i will try to remember to update this in the spring

Very interesting pattern. I like how you added dead wood to solved the problem where the boards met. Was this project for your house or for someone that hired you?

Good job. Thanks for sharing the idea.

it was for my own house, i don’t take on much for side jobs. and now that i know how ridiculous it is to do that pattern i would never find someone willing to pay me to do it
