Have been spending some time working on my metal fabrication skills and wanted to marry that with some woodworking. Not sure yet if I like the end result.

The redwood is part of a much larger chunk of driftwood, a second of it became the base for a coffee table and another section (pictured) was slabbed out at a local mill.
