Lignum Vitae case-box with wood inlaid on top. Hinge was made out of LV too. Paste wax finish. Woods species used in inlay are: West Indian Satinwood, Blue Mahoe, Cuban Mahogany, Courbaril and Cobana Negra. Thanks for looking. Alexander

This is one beautiful case,it’s a wonderful design and amazing workmanship.
I see you have several projects made from Lignum Viate,is this a wood that’s plentiful in your area? I know Lignum Viate is supposed to be a very stable wood and use to be used for wood clock gears,but I didn’t know it was such a beautiful wood.

Only thing which is more incredible than this awesome inlay are wide wooden hinges. This box is realy extraordinary.
