11-30-15 till 12-4-15 is my daughter’s “Me Week” in her class. The previous patents that have come to talk to the class about their careers have all given the students something to take home. My Wife and I decided that since we are both teachers and I teach woodworking/technology then we would give them all a wooden pencil box that is shaped like an old wooden toolbox I had some scraps in our carpentry shed at school that were destined for the dumpster that I made most of the pieces out of. The rest came from the construction site where my dad is building my sisters new house. The only thing that we purchased was the dowel handles. The biggest challenge was finding my headless pinner that I have had for a while, but had not had the opportunity to use yet. We are going to give them to our daughter’s classmates to take home and decorate if they choose.

Nice job. Stick a logo on the side and they’d make a fabulous give away at a craft fair or similar.
