This the new computer desk My wife wanted me to put together for the office. The top is a book matched walnut veneer that my father did some 30 or so years ago. The base is a printer stand that I had previously built. I pout a 2×4 ledger around the back side underneath and pocket holed it down. I am eventually going to build a smaller case for the other side so it matches. One honey do down 1.000 more to go.

Can’t argue with the beauty of the top. And, it looks like a good use of space too.

Wow, spectacular top. I been saving me some scrap veneer from work and I think I will make a new office desk and inlay some veneer when I get some time.
