This was a small project that I actually did in March. The original plan (probably one most of you had seen in a book) called for pocket hole joinery. But since I had been acquiring routers, etc. and still new, I wanted to take a stab at mortise and loose tenons.
Milk paint finish with black, tuscan red and finally antique white on top, sanded for the worn look. I didn’t distress, but just wanted slightly worn, not overdoing it.

Cool shelf nice antiquing . That’s how you learn new techniques is go for it like you did with the M&t joinery.

Thanks Dan & Jim. I owe it all to David Marks “Open Display Case”. That’s next!

Dusty – I had intended to get this up 2 weeks ago, but been traveling on business.
This was just sitting on an old PC because the house was still completely in boxes. (we just moved). So it’s a bad pic, but you get the idea.
