These are my latest bowls. The first is apple and the the other 3 are walnut. The apple came from my aunt Cathy’s yard and this bowl goes to her. The next walnut bowl came from my aunt Charlene’s yard and this bowl goes to her. The next piece of walnut came from a friend of the family so I made my other aunt Vivian this bowl. The last big walnut bowl, from Charlene, I made for us. It’s my largest yet at 11 inches round by 5 inches high. I have lots of the wood leftover for many other bowls. I feel its always good to make a gift to someone who gives free wood.

Every one of those bowls is beautiful. I agree with you about making something from the free wood for the person who gave it to you. It’s a great gesture and a wonderful way to say thanks.

Very nice bowls. Great shapes and the grain is outstanding. Wonderfull gesture in returning the “wood” to its home. Never forget those that keep us suplied.
Great job
Looking forward to more bowls.
