Candle Holder Centerpieces

Here are a pair of Maple and Purpleheart candle holder centerpieces from Woodsmith magazine. I made the smaller 5 candle one for my wife and put in some stripes instead of the gap that the plans call for. She was pretty jazzed, and then my sister-in-law asked for one, so I tweaked the stripes and made it bigger, because she has a much bigger house (a fact I never tire of reminding her about). Anyway, these are super easy to build and they look pretty nice. Thanks.

#173 October 2007. I agree. I made a few with the gap they called for but made some with stripes and liked the look a whole lot better. I like yours even better than mine. You did a nicer job with the stripes.

Digger- if you google “woodsmith candle centerpiece,” the free pdf is the second search result. Good luck!

Very nice.
I think the Shakers did it well. Simplicity accompanies function to make the ordinary beautiful.
I like it.

Those turned out great. I downloaded those plans about 4 years ago but haven’t made them yet. I might try a coulee for Christmas gifts this year.
