These end tables are from Feb 2007, but I just came across the photos. This was my first project using pocket screws for the joints. The planks making up the table top joined almost perfectly using pocket screws as well—without biscuits or splines. The wood is poplar with water-base stain and gloss polyurethane.

Nice design i am a pocket screw fanatic…Best thing since sliced bread. The finish is nice, I’d be proud to have them in my house. Thanks for posting.

I really like pocket screws too … but someone said to me the other day real wood worker dont use screws…lol I was like ok….I guess im just a hack as slash type of guy then…..!

Sorry. I’ve been unsuccessful searching for the plan. Wood Magazine back issues I’ve looked through on line don’t have it. It might have come from a Lowe’s mailing in ‘05 or ‘06, but I’m afraid I discarded my copy.
