This is my second box. It was just a cool idea that I came up with yesterday. I used 3/4 and 1.5 inch thick pine. I used the scroll saw and a drum sander on my drill press to make this project. I made the bottom part of the box by cutting out the same shape as the top out of the 1.5 inch thick pine. I then cut out that shape on the inside of the piece. Finally I glued in a bottom then sanded, painted and stained it. I really need to work on my painting skills by the way.
