Celebration boxes
life has so much to celebrate

Posted some of these little champagne cork display boxes before but my silence for a while here made it a good time to remind us that life seems to work in mysterious ways.

Each time I can find a reason to celebrate, I open a bottle of champagne, sometimes big things like my daughters confirmation party, other times small like a sunny day or a day with no pain. When I feel it’s a good one to remember, I bring the cork to the work shop and make it a box.

Life is beautiful every day, it’s just not every day we can see it.

Pictures:
1. Celebration boxes.
2. Cutting on a primitive sled.
3. Different materials and shapes just for the joy.
4. Cutting the windows.
5. Ready to glue.
6. Drying.

Hope it can give you a reason to pop a cork or even remind some of you to celebrate life.

Best thoughts,

MaFe

I too know those days, especially the far and few between -pain free days.
I don’‘t drink wine though… A nice glass of pink grapefruit juice is the way I go!

I’m returning to Europe next fall Mads. Maybe this time we won’t miss each other like we did last time.
We could pop one and you would have a reason to make another cute little celebration box. Maybe we can involve Thomas.

I never heard of a celebration box before but I really like the idea! Do you write a note to go with each one to help you remember the occasion?
