I snagged this oak while buying lumber for another project. The guy told me they used to burn this type wood for heat before they opened their retail store, their main business is door panels. The store is Wible lumber in South Milford IN.
I’ve had this wood for about a year and thought I had to make something out of it so out came this table.I is finished with general finish urethane gloss and aqua clear. Had some trouble with the aqua clear first time using it. I did not sand enough after aqua clear then after next coat of urethane I had swirl marks so out with sand paper but you live and learn

you left swirl marks all over it

GHEEEEEZZZZ that’s a nice table. When I was 18 years old chicks were eye candy, a little older now and that curly oak is eye candy

I’ve never seen so much gorgeous curly grain in red oak. You did a wonderful job showcasing it!

Nice job. Beautiful figure.

The reason your pictures are sideways is that the site doesn’t know how to handle pictures taken in portrait mode. Turn your phone or camera to take a landscape oriented picture.
